A HUNGRY MIND IS A THINKING MIND
It is often said that a hungry man is an angry man, hunger has to do with emptiness, lack of satisfaction, whether it be of food or of any other basic amenities of life. The desire to reach satisfaction, get filled and fit has been and is defined as hunger.
Hunger affects the mind either positively or negatively, although the negativity has been allowed to overwhelm the positive aspect of it. Depression, stealing, vices and even suicide has overtaken our world because of the term hunger.
Emotional Hunger, hunger for care, companionship and even hunger for love have driven our generation to many illegalities. The female and male folks venture into prostitutions, cultism and all sought of vices evolve from the mind as a result of hunger.
Yet, this same hunger has been discovered and seen as a factory for the production of great innovative ideas. According to Teraka, Courage "A hungry mind is a thinking mind". It is true that hunger of all sought comes with pains and a feeling of emptiness, yet hidden in this pain and emptiness is a great and innovative idea which when harnessed can transform our life and generation. A young man discovered that some food stuffs can be well packaged and sold for fast-food when he was hungry, others discovered how to overcome bad companies, escape prostitution, social vices etc. In their place of hunger.
Discover the beauty in your pains, the great idea which is embedded in your hunger and pain given the ability to look beyond the pains and THINKING. Don't forget, A HUNGRY MIND IS ALSO A THINKING MIND.
