Governor Ben Ayade Relieves Two Aides Of Appointment

Cross River State Governor, Sir Ben Ayade

The Cross River State Governor, Sir Ben Ayade has suspended the Chairman of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service, Mr Akpanke A. Ogar and the Special Assistant on Media to the governor, Miss Ursula Agbor. The suspension is with immediate effect.


This was contained in a press release signed by the Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the governor, Christian Ita.


This is coming 12 days after the suspension of the special Assistant to the governor on Quarry, Mr Moses Itanjah.


The governor also wishes to restate his commitment to finish strong by accomplishing all the set-out goals of his administration.


The release also states that His Excellency will no longer tolerate any slack from commissioners and heads of departments, agencies and parastatals. He is also requesting voluntary resignations from commissioners and heads of departments, agencies and parastatals who manifestly lack the capacity or will to deliver on their mandates.
