C'River State Police Command Deploys Massively Ahead of Yuletide Season

In view of the Christmas and New Year celebrations which will take place on the 25th of December 2021 and 1st January 2022, the Cross River State Police Command lead by CP Aminu Alhassan, psc (+) wishes to assure the good people of the state of the command’s readiness to perform its statutory functions of protecting lives and properties of all during and after the celebration.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Police Public Relation Officer in the state, DSP Irene Ugbo on Tuesday, 21st December, 2021.

As a way of ensuring lives and properties and secured during the yuletide season and beyond, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aminu Alhassan, psc (+) has completed adequate deployment of officers and men both convention Policemen and other Tactical teams of the Command to strategic locations, resorts and recreational centres to monitor the illegal activities of mischief makers who come with the intent of deceiving and molesting unsuspecting citizens during the festive period.

The command is also determined to deal with individuals or groups dealing on fireworks that may want to act contrary thereby leading to breakdown of law and order during this yuletide season and beyond.

While extending his Season’s Greeting to all Cross Riverians, the commissioner enjoined members of the public to cooperate with the police and other security agencies to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration.
