The mathematics department of the University of Calabar has been razed by fire.
Although the cause of the fire is yet unknown, students, staffs and residents within the university were seen attempting to put out the fire to prevent it from spreading.
our reporter gathered that the state fire service department were contacted and soon arrived to salvage the situation.
