Ahead of February 26 Cross River State House of Assembly Bye Elections, Akpabuyo People Endorses APC

 


The All Progressive Congress Cross River State Chairman Barr Alphonsus Ogar Eba  has flagged off the campaign tour of Local Governments (LG) in preparation for the Bye Elections into the vacant seat of Akpabuyo State House.


Leading other members of the State Executive Council, party official and supporters, Barr Alphonsus Ogar Eba thanked supporters of the All Progressives Congress for their support for the  administration’s policies and programmes of Governor Ben Ayade. 


He also assured party faithful of more rewards developmental projects, saying that his party adminstration will not neglect anyone. The Chairman warned against any form of violence before, during and after the polls, urging residents of the LGA to come out and vote for Hon Ekpo Bassey Effiom.


The Director General of Campaigns, Dr Genevieve Barnaby, also admonished party Supporters to play by the rules of the game, just as she asked youths in the LGA not to allow themselves to be used as instrument of violence by some politicians especially at the other end. She call on women to lean on Bassey Ekpo Effiom comes 26.


Meanwhile, the party flag bearer in Akpabuyo, Hon Bassey Ekpo Effiom called on the people not to relent as a new beginning of purposeful leadership is about to be birth while calling on everyone to ensure APC is the party to be voted for.


The Leaders of the APC across all levels in the State and an unprecedented crowd of APC supporters thronged out on Tuesday to witnessed the official flag-off campaign for February 26 CRSHA By-election in Akpabuyo.


The State Party Chairman Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba (Okadigbo) presented the Party's flag to Hon. Bassey Ekpo Effiom and officially endorsed him as the Party's candidate for the February 26 By-election. 


From what was witnessed at Akpabuyo Council Secretariat, the Rally is more like a  Victory Party as the people swore to Vote 

Hon. Bassey Ekpo Effiom which they described as the best choice for Akpabuyo.
