The Senator representing Cross River Southern Senatorial District, Senator Gershom Bassey congratulates Delta State Governor, Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa on his emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate to the PDP Presidential flag bearer, HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
In a statement made available to the press, Sen. Bassey commended HE Atiku Abubakar and the PDP for the choice of Sen. Okowa who is a selfless go-getter, gentleman and a true party man with grassroot appeal. Sen. Gershom Bassey further said that the PDP is set to rescue Nigeria from the bad governance of the ruling APC. According to him, Atiku/Okowa union is a transformational ticket to move Nigeria forward.
