Blessed To Be A Producer

By Rev. Chidi Brown

A producer is an individual or an organization that creates goods. You cannot subdue if you cannot produce.

In Genesis chapter 1 verse 28, the scripture reveals Gods blessing on man after creation. “And God blessed them; and said unto them: ‘Be fruitful, and, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

God expects every man to be fruitful. He created us in his image and likeness. He also involved man in creation by giving him the privilege to name everything he created (Genesis 2:19).

The producer is superior to the consumer, and the consumer is always at the mercy of the producer. The consumer also cannot not give conditions only the producer does.

You cannot influence or determine outcome of a product if you are not a producer. That was why Donald Trump sort to have the US produce gas instead of depending on Russia.

The most powerful people in the world today are who they are because they are producers. A man like Bishop T.D Jakes is not just a preacher of the gospel but a publisher, a singer and a movie maker. The quality of a producer which he possesses, makes him relevant and sort for.

One of the ways to continue living even when you are no more is to be a producer. Be a producer and not just a consumer.

People look for you because of what you can produce and not because of what you can consume. Until you start producing, people will not look for you. They will come when you can start producing.

What you produce can be a way out of lack. It can also be an answer to your prayers. You will be remembered for what you produced and not what you consumed.

What you produce outlives you. The best way to continue living is to be a producer. A family full of producers is a family full of rulers. 1 Chronicles 7:3 “The son of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Ishiah. All five of them were chiefs.”

A producer always brings solution and people pay for solutions. Producers are thinkers, planners and executors. They think, plan and execute.

An outstanding detective is a thinker and a great strategist is a thinker. Producers are givers, they giver solutions, while consumers are only at the receiving end. Consumers are only receivers of what the producer gives.

Act 20:35; “In everything, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

To excel as a producer, you have to;

1. Invest in things that makes you an effective producer and not what makes you an effective consumer. “When you consume more than you produce, it leads to lack.”

2. Invest in those things that enhances your productivity.

3. Let your production outweigh your consumption.
