APC Candidates seeking votes from Akpabuyo State Constituency have assured the people of Atimbo East of their readiness and commitment to better and more robust representation from 2023. This was made known during the APC Ward Tour by Candidates for Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly.
Disclosing his intentions to the electorates, APC Cross River South Senatorial Candidate, Asuquo Ekpenyong said the party is on a mission to bring dividends of democracy to Akpabuyo people by making sure the people are empowered through sustainable programs. He stated his desire to look at the current challenges of electricity and insecurity by working with the Federal Government to address it when elected.
The APC Candidate for Federal House of Representatives Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South, Rt Hon Joseph Bassey says there is no going back in reclaiming the Constituency from those who feel it's a pensionable office. According to him Akpabuyo is in dire need of development and as such will ensure he attracts gainful projects and empowerment to the Constituency.
Speaking Earlier, APC House of Assembly Candidate for Akpabuyo, Hon Bassey Effiong appealed to Atimbo East Ward to vote APC from top to bottom as the only political party that will bring succour to the people.
The ward tour was well attended by the many party faithfuls including the three DGs of Campaign, Hon Oqua Edet Oqua, Hon Oliver Orok and Hon Edem Effiom as well as the Chapter Chairman, Pastor Henry Ekpenyong Edem, Vice Chairman, Hon Mrs Abigail Duke, amongst many others.
