JUST IN: C'River APC Close Down Markets, Forces Traders To Attend Tinubu Presidential Rally In Calabar

APC Presidential Aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress, APC leadership in Cross River State has shut down the major markets in the city of Calabar. Watt and Marian Markets were shut down and traders forced to attend the Presidential rally of Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate at the U. J. Esuene Stadium Calabar held today, Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

When some traders accosted them at Marian Market about why they should force them to close shops, they said they should go and collect their PVCs.

Some traders who courageously showed their PVCs and tried to open their shops report that they were beaten up by the APC thugs mercilessly and were told to go to the Stadium and welcome the APC Presidential candidate, Tinubu.

This act is a clear indication that the Cross River State APC are afraid of having an empty stadium after boasting to Tinubu that Cross River State is APC.

Expressing her pains, a trader in Watt market made this remark;

"The shops in the market are locked. We were asked to go and get our PVCs, only for us to realise that APC Presidential Candidate Tinubu is coming to Calabar Today. I had to lock myself inside my shop so that I can continue to do my business"

"Maybe they are scared of having an empty stadium" she added.

Another marketer at the shopping centre revealed that they were told to go and get their PVCs because Tinubu will be in Calabar.
