It was a gathering of top political figures and prominent personalities, as Ada Bekwarra II, Hon. Signor Omang Idiege's son, Dr. Idiege Omang Idiege, got married to Miss Fortune Tobyrich Toby over the weekend in Cross River State.
The wedding attracted dignitaries from within and outside the state who came to witness the occasion and celebrate with the family.
Former governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade, attended the ceremony and congratulated the couple. He urged them to build their home on love, trust, and understanding, noting that a successful marriage is sustained by commitment and mutual respect.
The Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Dr Michael Odere, who was the chairman of the occasion, also graced the event and commended the couple for taking a bold step into a new phase of life. He encouraged them to remain united and supportive of each other while praying for God's guidance and blessings upon their home.
In his remarks, Ada Bekwarra II, Hon. Signor Omang Idiege, expressed joy and gratitude to God for witnessing his son's wedding. He appreciated friends, colleagues, and associates who came from far and near to celebrate with his family and prayed for the couple's happiness and success.
"Today is one of our happiest days as it's the yearning of every parent to see their children take this important step.
I thank God for His grace and thank everyone who joined us to celebrate this moment. My prayer is that their marriage will be filled with peace, understanding, and God's blessings."
