Our client specializes in smart building management solutions, serving large-scale enterprise environments such as hospitals, care facilities, and corporate offices.

With thousands of active devices already deployed, you will join a lean, high-impact team working directly with technical leadership to scale a production-ready platform.

The Role at a Glance

As a core contributor, you will take ownership of end-to-end features within a robust JavaScript ecosystem. The current stack utilizes Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL, with an IoT integration layer powered by Thingsboard.

The initial milestone involves a high-priority project: extracting platform data to build a sophisticated visualization layer. Success in this initial phase will lead to a permanent, long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Fullstack Engineering: Design, develop, and optimize features using Node.js (backend) and React (frontend).

• Database Management: Handle PostgreSQL schema design, complex query optimization, and data integrity.

• API Development: Architect and maintain RESTful APIs to bridge various platform layers.

• Quality Assurance: Write clean, testable code, ensuring comprehensive test coverage is integrated into the development lifecycle.

• IoT Integration: Work within the Thingsboard ecosystem and contribute to the future roadmap of migrating backend services.

• Proactive Collaboration: Maintain clear English communication, flagging blockers early and reporting progress transparently.

Technical Expertise

• JavaScript Mastery: Expert-level proficiency across the entire stack.

• React: Strong grip on hooks, state management, and component architecture.

• Node.js: Proven experience in server-side logic and asynchronous patterns.

• PostgreSQL: Advanced skills in relational database design and query tuning.

• Testing: A "test-first" mindset with experience delivering production-ready, verified code.
