US Announces VISA Restrictions on Associates of Illicit Fentanyl Traffickers

The United States Department of State has today announced the imposition of visa restrictions on 13 individuals identified as close business associates of the sanctioned online pharmacy, KS International Traders, and its owner.

The measures follow findings that the India-based firm has sold hundreds of thousands of counterfeit prescription pills laced with illicit fentanyl to unsuspecting victims across the United States. These activities have caused widespread devastation to families and communities throughout the nation.

Thomas ‘Tommy’ Pigott, acting as Spokesperson, highlighted the gravity of the threat posed by the substance. Under Executive Order (E.O.) 14367, "Designating Fentanyl as a Weapon of Mass Destruction," President Trump has formally designated illicit fentanyl as a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD). KS International Traders is alleged to have generated significant revenue through the trafficking of these lethal narcotics.

The visa restrictions are being implemented under Section 212(a)(3)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. This legal provision ensures that those complicit in the distribution of these poisons are denied entry into the United States.

"Illicit fentanyl is killing too many Americans," the Department stated. "Those complicit in poisoning Americans will be denied entry to the United States."

The Department of State further noted that this action underscores the enduring and shared commitment between the United States and India to dismantle illicit drug entities and disrupt the trafficking networks responsible for harming American citizens.
