THE AFRICAN CHILD
As i stood along the river bank gazing at what lays ahead, I heard the sober tone
of the african child anticipating for a tomorrow where protection, empowerment and equal opportunties for the children would be in the minds of every African and economic recession would not be an excuse for children to be seen on the streets hawking instead of being in school.
And then i heard a voice echoing in my head "Education is our passport for the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare today" And with that i beckoned on others to join me in the protest of giving education and ending voilence against children, just like the children in Soweto, South Africa did.
For alone i can be heard but together we can all make a change.
Godbless Africa
