EASTER SPECIAL - THE BLOOD DONOR BY OLUCHI OMAI

THE BLOOD DONOR.
Helplessly I lay, left to die, the Doctor said I needed a blood transfusion. Family and friends could only sympathize with me, but none was ready to go through the rigor of donating blood. Slowly I died. Counting days after which I will bid this world farewell. Then he couldn't watch me die, moved with love and compassion, he chose to go through the rigor of blood donation just for my sake. Soon, life was restored, dead expunged. All my life, I keep loving him, though he is dead, yet I can't stop telling people about him.  This blood donor was my beloved father.
But, as I grew up I discovered that even while I breath I was dying eternally matching to damnation, and eternal death. Sin had eaten up the fabrics of my very life, I had no hope for eternity. I was facing a greater death than what my father's blood could atone for.
A greater donor "Jesus Christ" came my way, his blood saved me not just from physical death but from eternal damnation too. His bruises were because of my iniquity, and He was chastised for my peace. And His stripes has remained my source of divine healing. He died that I might leave. Greater price CHRIST paid on the cross, not for me alone but for all that will believe in His saving Grace.
JESUS CHRIST IS THE GREATEST BLOOD DONOR - A BLOOD DONOR SAVED MY LIFE...
