Ohafia Council Boss recieves newly coronated Eze of Amafor community



The Executive Chairman of Ohafia Local government, Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe  on Monday, recieved the new Eze of Amafor Autonomous Community, Nkporo.

Speaking during the presentation held at the Traditional Rulers Council Conference Hall, Ukiwe described the throne as a sensitive position that requires a considerable display of wisdom, diligence, sacrifice, initiative and perseverance. He urged the traditional ruler to see his new position as a call  to service. 

He commended the stakeholders and indigenes of Amafor for their respective role in the successful emergence of a new king. He charged them to embrace peace for accelerated development.

While presenting the new Eze, the President General, Amafor Development Union Chief Orji Ude Egbuta noted that Eze Irukwu Otuu having served in different capacities, has acquired the relevant experience to function as Eze of Amafor Autonomous community and satisfied all conditions to ascend the throne which had been vacant for some months. 




In his remarks, Eze Irukwu Otuu pledged to serve to be fair and just in the discharge of his duties. 

Ohafia Deputy Chairman, Hon. Samuel Kalu, Secretary to the Local government Lady Elizabeth Nkaku, Leader of Ohafia LGA Legislative Council, Hon. Oju Ndukwe Uka, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Hon. Dimgba Ejieke and other government functionaries were present at the event.
