Group Pledges Support For Ameachi. Inaugurates State Exco


A socio-political group, Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria have pledged their support to work with the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi in actualizing his future political ambitions.


National president of the group, Comrade Emmanuel Orgwu made the commitment when he inaugurated the Cross River State chapter of the group in Calabar.


Orgwu pointed out that reason for their support of the transportation minister is as a result of his track record, as a speaker, governor of Rivers State and now minister. 


"I want to urge all of you here today, especially the newly inaugurated state exco to be prepared to work from now till 2023. Even after 2023 BBIGN will still exist, whether there is APC or not this group will continue to exist. We are a recognized group, registered with the corporate affairs commission, we can sue and be sued so we are not fizzling away after 2023.


"We are here to enthron a better platform for young and honest Nigerians to aspire to any position of leadership in this country" 


The national president of BBIGN who was accompanied during the visit by the zonal vice president, south south, Engr Abasiodo Esshiet and other national leaders of the group also described the insecurity challenge in the country as sad. 


Also speaking, the publicity secretary south south zone, Comrd. Dodeye Leko charged members of the group in the state to gear up for the challenge ahead. Maintaining that to have a better Nigeria, young, smart and honest Nigerians must rise up to the calling as critical stakeholders. 



State coordinator of the group, Hon. Iyaji Augustine in his speech, assured the national leadership of the group of the willingness of the state leadership to work hard in order to achieve the desired goal of the group.  


The event was preceded with a tour to some selected tourist sites in the state capital
