It is relieving to breathe the freshness of belonging to the party that no longer plays the drums of “opposition” in the State - Usani Usani

Pastor Usani Uguru Usani has stated that it is relieving to breathe the freshness of belonging to the party that no longer plays the drums of opposition in Cross River State.

This was contained in his welcome letter signed by him, to the governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sir Ben Ayade on his defection from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday 25th May, 2021.

He further recalled that the People’s Democratic Party PDP has remained in governance in Cross River State since 1999, the year in which the present democratic phase was given birth to.

“Beyond my message of congratulations as conveyed through GSM text, I hereby formally express my message of "WELCOME” from your erstwhile political affiliation to the All Progressives Congress (APC). From the inception of the present democratic phase, which began in 1999, Cross River State has remained in the governance of one particular party, which hitherto formed Government at the centre. It is relieving to breathe the freshness of belonging to the party that no longer plays the drums of “opposition” in the State.” He said.

Pastor Usani further affirmed the parties commitment to supporting and standing solidly behind the governor as he performs his leadership role in the state and the party (APC).

“As you perform your role in leading the State and Party apparatus, we have a duty to offer you the utmost possible assistance, with committed conscience for your good to be better and your better, best.” He added.
