Another phase of empowerment storms Akamkpa Local Government Area by Senator Gershom Bassey, senator representing Cross River South as he doles out motorcycles to party leaders and constituents in Akamkpa.
Barr. Ekpo Asuquo Ada, the DG, South, Sen. Gershom Bassey campaign organization while presenting the motorcycles to the beneficiaries said the gesture is one of the ways to appreciate party faithful who have been supporting the party to stand from the ward levels and that all leaders shall be rewarded in one way or the other.
He noted that the Senator will continue to deliver on his campaign promises and urged party faithful and Cross Riverians to support and believe in People Democratic Party (PDP) as the only true party for the betterment of the state.
Commending the Senator’s kind gesture, Hon. Itejinghe John Edet, Chairman of PDP ward Chairmen in Akamkpa LGA, described the Distinguished Senator, as one of the Legislators currently performing well for his Senatorial District. In his words ." I have witnessed so many empowerment programmes that Sen.Gershom has channelled to his people; truly he is a true leader, not distracted by what is ongoing." He continued by thanking the Distinguished Senator and assuring him that the good people of Akamkpa will reciprocate this kind gesture by supporting his 2023 agenda of becoming the next Governor of Cross River State.
