The leading Gubernatorial aspirant for the Cross River State upcoming Governorship Elections consulted the Leaders and party faithful of Bekwarra as regards his aspiration.
The Senatorial aspirant for Central Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Bassey Eko Ewa in his remark made known to the party Leaders in Bekwarra that Sen. Gershom is a man with the blueprint of Cross River State as a planner with technical know-how; having been an engine room during the reign of His Excellency Donald Duke and Sen. Liyel Imoke administration.
Rt. Hon. Bassey further urges party faithful and stakeholders to support a party man whose efforts in the state and party has yielded results over time and his contributions to the growth and development of the party and Cross River State at large can not be overemphasized.
A national Assembly lawmaker who is representing Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Agibe described the gubernatorial aspirant before the stakeholders as a golden fish to be reckoned with and he further emphasized the need for the people of Bekwarra to support the Zoning System in Governorship position to the Southern Senatorial district of Cross River State.
According to Chris Agibe, the system of zoning has been a major factor of peace and natural law in the limelight of unity in Cross River State. He also admonished the people on the need to support Senator Bassey during primaries and general elections come 2023, because of his capacity in terms of service delivery.
The leading aspirant who is popularly known as "The EAGLE" drew the attention of the people as a man who knows the way, lead the way and show the way to the new PARADISE OF OUR DREAM in Cross River State assured the good people of Bekwarra on the pinnacle of equity, fairness and quality representation in all sectors.
According to Gershom Bassey, PDP as a party is a party of truth and progress in terms of peaceful sailing.
The vibrant senator disclosed two points agenda out of numerous agendas he has to the people and two of these are Economic emancipation and security. He gave a quotient reason on the need for security and economic emancipation in Cross River State.
The Caucus leader of Bekwarra, Hon. Timmy Ekawu in his remark welcome the aspirant and his entourage for visiting Bekwarra while urging the people to support the leading Senator during primaries in 2022 and general elections come 2023 respectively.
The women leader Mrs Abah Regina on behalf of the Women of Bekwarra assured the aspirant and PDP of total support.
The youth Leader of Bekwarra, Mr. Idiege in his brief remarks assured the aspirant of total support from the youth wing accordingly.
The PDP chapter chairman of Bekwarra Hon. Obule in his speech Assured Sen. Gershom Bassey as the political father of PDP that the votes of Bekwarra won't be wasted on any aspirant that is not competent to mount the number one seat of cross river state.
The high point of the event is the presentation of cash gifts Worth over two million nairas to the Party Leaders and supporters for refreshments
