Davido Gets Another Feather To His Cap, Features In the Qatar 2022 World Cup Official Theme Song

Nigerian Award Winning Singer; David Adeleke has just gotten another feather to his cap, as the headlines captured him as one of the three features for the Qatar 2022 World Cup official theme song. 

His participation means he becomes the first Nigerian artiste to feature in an official world cup soundtrack.

The soundtrack, titled Hayya Hayya (Better Together), is the first of a selection of singles to be released from the multi-song FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM Official Soundtrack. The soundtrack made its debut officially today, April 1, and will be performed live at the draw ceremony.

The DMW CEO has taken to his Twitter to make the announcement. And has fueled anticipation from his fans for the release tonight.

Recall that the Super Eagles of Nigeria stand disqualified from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This came after a draw with the Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday 29th March. 

The match ended with an aggregate Score: 1-1 Ghana qualify through an away goal tiebreaker.
