NLC PROTEST: CNG-SW Joins The NLC Protest Across All The Nineteen Northern States

It is no longer been news that the Nigeria Labour Congress has weeks back threatened to embark on a nationwide protest in solidarity with the Academic Staff Union Of Universities and Nigerian students that have been on prolonged strike.

To the surprise of many Nigerians, during the protest across all the nineteen northern states, the coalition of northern groups' students' wing ( CNG-SW), the epitome and apotheosis of the student body in the region who has been standing vehemently against sordid injustice and aberrant dissatisfaction towards northern students and Nigeria at large, has been the leading factor of the peaceful protest.

Different placards garnished with distinguished themes are seen at the hands of the Union's state coordinators and their gang folk men and folk women.

The national coordinator of the CNG-SW, Comr. Jamilu Aliyu Charanchi while addressing the newsmen at the end of the protest, has expressed his utmost and peak satisfaction and gratitude towards all the state coordinators and national excos for the tireless efforts and solidarity shown.

He also appended that this sort of soulful March would continue till the federal government and concerned agencies do the needful.

"No need of prodding for any meaningful mind heaving with sympathies and concerns to take part in ceasing the heart destroying effort by the federal government in downgrading Nigeria's public universities". He said.

The secretary general of the group, Emuseh Gimba Bokunga and her counterpart co-worker and logistics director, Comr Hussain Ibrahim have called on the responsible agencies and federal government atop all for immediate intervention and to bring the strike to an end.
