Canaan Business School (CBS), Calabar recently graduated her 2nd cohort of students from the Business Growth Master Class, honouring the 24 students with a colourful graduation ceremony.
The ceremony which drew a large crowd, as well as faculty members, graduating students and family members was held in Calabar on Sunday, 2 June, 2024.
The founder of the Business school, Mr John Collins, in his welcome address, thanked the lecturers and friends who have been of great support to the School for their expertise, dedication and efforts which he believes have fostered a community of learners in the business space.

Furthermore, JC said the Business School was founded with a sole purpose of inspiring young leaders of thoughts in all sectors of life particularly the business and leadership space, assuring the government that the high standard will be maintained. He also congratulated the students for their willingness to learn and for being of good conduct throughout the sessions.
While presenting his graduation lecture titled 'NAVIGATING THE EVER CHANGING BUSINESS LANDSCAPE, SHAPING A FUTURE BEYOND THE BOOKS', Coach Oyo Effiom, Founder, guru foundation emphasized the importance of educating and empowering entrepreneurs who will drive the State's industrial transformation. Sharing his life's experiences in businesses, Mr Effiom further charged the graduands to embrace courage and seize opportunities to make a difference.
On their part, the lecturers; Offiong Ikpeme, the Founder Offiong Ikpeme foundation, Comr. Emmanuel Awor, founder BridgeMeta Supplies, and Mr Daniel Kanu took turns to admonish the graduands to stay focused as they launch into a different realm in the business sector. While asserting that the journey may not be all rosy, they all believe that should the students practice all they have been taught, then they can surmount any challenges they encounter in the business world.
Some of the graduating students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to God and Canaan Business School for the impactful session which has opened them up to greater possibilities and opportunities in their fields of endeavours.
