Temu Partners Lagos Start-up Dellyman to Boost Nationwide Deliveries

Global e-commerce giant Temu has announced a new delivery partnership with Lagos-based logistics start-up Dellyman, signalling a significant step forward in its expansion into the Nigerian market.

The collaboration comes on the back of a successful pilot phase during which Dellyman executed more than 1,300 deliveries with an impressive 95 per cent success rate, underscoring the company’s growing capacity to support large-scale e-commerce operations across the country.

Founded in 2020, Dellyman has steadily evolved into one of Nigeria’s most reliable last-mile and same-day delivery platforms. In November 2025, the company hit a major milestone, completing 10,000 orders in a single month and surpassing 300,000 lifetime deliveries. This strong operational record positioned Dellyman as a natural fit for Temu, which is rapidly building logistics capabilities across key African markets.

Under the new partnership, Temu customers in Nigeria are expected to benefit from faster, more predictable, and more transparent delivery timelines, a crucial factor as the platform’s order volumes continue to rise. Dellyman’s technology-driven system, which includes optimised routing, real-time tracking, and structured rider management, played a key role in Temu’s decision.

Speaking on the development, Dellyman Founder and CEO Dare Ojo-Bello described the partnership as both an operational milestone and a moment of validation for Nigeria’s logistics landscape.

“Our partnership with Temu is a major endorsement of the vision we set out with to build Nigeria’s most reliable, scalable, and transparent last-mile delivery infrastructure,” Ojo-Bello said. “Achieving a 95 per cent delivery success rate during the pilot underscores our readiness to support high-volume e-commerce platforms. This collaboration shows that local start-ups can meet and exceed global standards when given the opportunity.”

He added that the partnership reflects a wider shift in how global e-commerce brands perceive Nigerian logistics capabilities.

“This is not just about fulfilling orders; it is about reshaping perceptions of what Nigerian delivery companies can achieve. We are committed to building the kind of infrastructure that supports international standards, empowers local businesses, and strengthens consumer trust across the digital economy,” he noted.

Ojo-Bello also revealed that Dellyman plans to scale its fleet, enhance operational capacity, and invest in additional merchant-focused tools to further improve service delivery for Temu users and other online shoppers nationwide.

The Temu–Dellyman partnership is expected to streamline e-commerce fulfilment in major urban centres, reduce delivery delays, and bolster confidence in cross-border online marketplaces. It also positions Dellyman as a preferred logistics partner for global retailers considering entry into the Nigerian market.

As online shopping continues to grow across Nigeria, Temu’s approach, particularly its decision to rely on a homegrown logistics provider, signals rising trust in the country’s rapidly developing delivery ecosystem.
