The Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Nursing, Coco-Bassey Esu, has congratulated Governor Bassey Edet Otu on his recent national and academic recognitions, describing them as well-deserved honours that reflect his commitment to humanity and public service.
Governor Otu was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanity by Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, in recognition of his contributions to societal development and the welfare of citizens. According to Coco-Bassey, the honour underscores the governor’s record of selfless service, compassion and people-centred leadership.
In the same vein, he hailed the conferment of the Best Governor of the Year award on Governor Otu by The Sun Newspaper, noting that it validates his vision and sustained efforts to uplift and empower the people of Cross River State.
