The U.S. Department of State has introduced a pilot “concierge” service aimed at accelerating access to American-made artificial intelligence technologies for countries aligned with the Pax Silica initiative.
Announced on 19 February 2026, the new service will utilise the Department’s network of around 270 diplomatic missions worldwide to help Pax Silica signatories streamline the process of acquiring critical AI infrastructure. This includes support for sourcing power systems, cooling solutions, software, and hardware produced in the United States.
The initiative is designed to help trusted partner nations and their industry leaders remain competitive in the global race for AI leadership. Through tailored logistical and advisory assistance, the Department seeks to strengthen cooperation with countries committed to secure and transparent technology supply chains.
Officials say the programme will deepen digital ties between the United States and its technological partners by providing a faster and more direct pathway to advanced AI hardware for those adhering to Pax Silica principles.
The move reflects a broader strategic view that future global security will depend not only on access to cutting-edge computing power, but also on how such technologies are deployed within trusted and resilient systems. By promoting secure architecture and cryptographic verification alongside American-built solutions, the United States aims to ensure its partners play a leading role in shaping the future of AI.
