CRITERIA FOR JOINING GOD’S END-TIME ARMY
MARK 3:14; ACTS 4:13, LUKE 10:38 – 42
For every military outfit, there are prerequisites or criteria that must be met before interested individuals are recruited. This is because the training process is vigorous and require only people who are fit and stand the test of time will be recruited.
So it was with Gideon and his soldiers when he with terror and advancing troop of enemies, God asked him to reduce the crowd of soldiers with him. After God’s divine pattern of selection, only 300 soldiers were left to face the battle. This would seem madness to any sane person, yet God was in the Business, he was the recruiting officer and had chosen men He deemed fit for the battle. He knows those who will not run away when the enemy approaches.
Who Are Those Fit For This End-Time Army
1. Believers who are close and have a personal relationship with God. If you don’t spend time with God, you cannot be used by Him.
2. Those who are zealous: Zeal without knowledge will kill you. So you must be zealous!
3. Those who have a closer walk with Him:- You cannot know your master if you keep distant from him, therefore, you need a closer walk with God.
4. Those who love His Presence: In life all you need is His presence and His word.
5. Those who are ready always to hear Him speak: - God watches over His word to perform it. You must be ready always to hear Him speak. The word of God guides the life of every believer.
6. Those who abide continually in God’s presence:- Abiding in God’s presence shifts you into the level of revelations and visions. It is by revelation that God makes His prophetic agenda for his people known. So you must abide continually in God’s presence.
7. Those who are led by revelation:- To be in the centre of God’s will, you must be led by revelation.
