INTRODUCTION
Glowing means radiating, giving out light.
Some also say it is the showing forth of one’s character. But, in the context
of our study, it entails showcasing or exhibiting the characteristics and
presence of God in one’s life. The liveliness of a place depends on the amount
of light in it. That is what the world should experience from us Christians.
Wherever we go, darkness has to disperse.
When an individual carries the
presence or glory of God, the kingdom of darkness always know it and they also
know when a man doesn’t carry God’s glory. Just like light does not negotiate
with darkness, a man with God’s glory does not need to instruct demons to
disperse when he shows up, they simply disperse on their own accord.
BENEFITS OF CARRYING THE GLORY OF GOD
1.
YOU HAVE DOMINION
Jesus is the head of all
principalities and powers, therefore glowing with him mean glowing with
authority. The man, who represents a governor or a president in a function,
operates in the capacity of the governor or president. In the same vein,
carrying the mandate of God anywhere we go, we carry dominion and even the
devil knows it. The glory of God is not limited by space or confined to a
place, therefore it operates everywhere.
The world is full of
people operating with evil powers. How can you face and overcome them if you do
not carry the glory of God?
Is the glory for sale? If
it were so, the rich will grasp it all while others will have to subscribe for
it. But, God has given it to us free of charge.

GOD’S GLORY BRINGS BOLDNESS – (DANIEL
6)
Daniel in a strange land
could standout and was bold because he carried the glory of God. He was not
intimidated; he never succumbed to threats from his surrounding because he knew
his God. Many Christians today have compromised they faith and the standard of
God because they lack the boldness that comes only when you carry God’s Glory.
God’s glory becomes a generational blessing to those who operate in it. God’s
glory is not to be covered like Moses did. We must not reduce standard in order
to fit into the society.
No man can fake God’s
glory! It is outstanding and we cannot do a plastic surgery in order to
increase God’s Glory on us. “Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their
strength…”
A man who experiences the
glory of God will never want to let it go. That was why the apostles of Jesus
at the mount of transfiguration never desired to go back, but, rather desired
to build tabernacles for inhabitation in the place of God’s glory. Whatever
your need in life might be, you must desire the Glory of God.
3.
THE GLORY OF GOD DISTINGUISHES A MAN
The glory of God
differentiates a true Christian from a mere church goers, it differentiates
doctors from doctors. A doctor with God’s glory does not just administer
treatment to a patient but he is directed by God. He prays and God can reveal
instructions to him which when administered results in healing. The glory can
attract business clients and magnify your little ability.
AREAS TO SHOW GOD’S GLORY
God’s glory is to be
shown everywhere. But, for emphasis we will discuss few.
1. IN YOUR PLACE OF PRIMARY
ASSIGNMENT: we are
to display God’s glory in our place of primary assignment. Whether as an actor
or a film producer, a student, trader etc. set Godly standards and live by
them. Daniel was ten (10) times better than others, he had an excellent spirit.
He was a politician, yet he feared God and radiated with God’s glory. Politics
is not bad, we are encourage to enter it with God’s glory lest the wrong people
continue to corrupt it. Let your character influence others.
Most of us have fall
victims of either pre-examination malpractice, on the spot or post examination
malpractice. “Always have the dignity to say my God has given me a brain.”
Study as never before, prepare ahead of time for your examination. “Teachers
will always like brilliant students.”
2. RADIATE GOD’S GLORY ON SOCIAL
MEIDA
It is quite unfortunate how polluted
our social media platforms has become. It has become a den of pornography and
illicit post, a dump for un-educative and irrelevant post, yet we find so many
Christians on social media. We can showcase Jesus Christ on social media and
network. Preach or post edifying and life transforming messages and articles.
Even during sports we can showcase
Jesus Christ by sharing tracts. Do not forget His words “If I be lifted up, I
will draw all men to myself.”
What plans do you have for
evangelism? A man without God’s glory will soon go on extinction, people will
not here you. Our refusal to carry God’s Glory will not stop him from being
God. Carrying God’s Glory is for our personal benefit.
