A yet to be verified number of persons are currently trapped under a container. The container had fallen on top of three vehicles along the LASU-Igando road, Lagos.
Three occupants of one of the vehicles have been rescued by residents already.
The container fell on the vehicles between Omark and Akeson bus stop in Igando. BHG-InfoDesk gathered that the container was being transported on a truck to an unknown destination when it fell on the vehicles.
One of the vehicles trapped under the container went into flames minutes after the incident occurred.
The Public Relations Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the South-southwest region, Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, said the accident happened around 9:45 pm.
Farinloye said a container on top of a moving trailer fell on three vehicles, a Sienna, Toyota and another vehicle.
He revealed that one of the vehicles had some passengers inside. He also added that the incident happened in front of Omark School by Dapson Bus stop, Akesan, Igando Lagos State.
